Small update

This is just a quick note to anyone waiting on a refund that they will be completed today.

Regarding updates, we currently don't have any staff to answer emails in English, but we're working normally behind the scenes, sending orders every day as we always have. 

We have to apologize to our customers for any delays now. Unfortunately, the previous customer service person was incredibly irresponsible and ran off without any notice at all after questioned about hours worked. We found he had secretly cut his hours in half, no longer doing the evening and weekend hours which he had requested to collect full-time pay. That was hidden from the company while we kept asking about problems recurring with customer service. As well, we found a big mess to decipher with orders sent but not marked, orders not sent but marked, orders left hanging for months for no reason at all while doing nothing about requests, customer emails deleted unanswered in the email trash, etc., etc., etc. 

We mention that so you understand we have had a lot to do and that has caused some delays. If you walked into the shop, or if you phoned and spoke Vietnamese, that's OK but just not in English right now, sorry. Updates within your account onsite are actually sent in Vietnamese, so those are followed by staff no problem.

They are working out great. The right hand one is a must for the disk brake. The feel is much better and adjusting it to fit my hand works great. The left hand one is fantastic during those LONG rally rides. No hand strain and if the cable stretches a little you can just make a quick adjustment on the ride.

Bought our Lambretta from ScootRS 6 years ago no problems as yet.

You guys did such a good job on the scoot though, my local scooter shop is very happy with it.

I got the refund! TOO COOL! Thank you for working with me and making me feel appreciated and taken care of - you have earned my business and I think I see a disk brake kit in the near future! LOL! Thanks again.

  • Great service and really good product quality!!!
  • Leder-Liebhaber eine verhältnismäßig günstige Alternative zu der Original-Ledersitzbank. Der Bezug sitzt wie angegossen auf einer GTS 125. Die Qualität scheint mir sehr gut zu sein, das Service war in puncto Geschwindigkeit aussergewöhnlich Translation: Lovely leather, a relatively cheap alternative to the original leather seat. The cover fits like a glove on a GTS 125. The quality seems to be very good, the service was exceptional in terms of speed.
  • The knee pads seem very well made and look the mutts nuts.
  • Ich hab Sie bestellt bei [ScootRS] und gibts keine Probleme zwecks Qualität. Translation: I've ordered at [ScootRS] and there are no problems for the purpose of quality.
  • I bought a stainless one from ScootRS a couple of weeks ago and it's good quality. Was with me in 5 days.
  • Die Teile sind alle angekommen, gute Verarbeitung, paßgenau, keine Probleme. Translation:The parts have all arrived, well made, exact fit, no problems.
  • They do make the scoot stand out from the norm :-)

Remember: on forums, ALWAYS listen ONLY to actual customers for feedback and fact-based firsthand reviews because too many anonymous posters are associated with competitors or hiding their own interests. And always ignore forum warrior types trying to scare people into blindly following them. See firsthand, think for yourself then let other people know!

We are all accountable , even i , for discrepancies that we enlist for the sake of a service or sale of a product that we provide .

Tell us your best story of how much you saved on scooter parts!

Lambretta drive side oil seal plate steel For example, others ask $20-25 for the EXACT same high quality Lambretta drive side oil seal plate in steel we sell for $9.79! Add up the savings over 10-20 parts from us for your Vespa or Lambretta scooter and you have enough savings at the end for a new disc brake kit or tubeless rims or... :-)

We've had some great emails in the past where people bought many items from ScootRS for a resto and saved a lot on the same quality parts - often HIGHER! - than they'd get from Europe.

What was your best deal on scooter parts?

Just got a huge box of parts from you guys for me and my fellow club members and im too lazy to do the math....I'm guessing about $3000 in savings!

Yes, $3000 at a minimum!

Wow, that is awesome! Huge savings. Hope the savings were spent on something worthwhile, like beer :-) There are so many fake stories and rumors posted on the internet, it's great to hear directly from real US customers that we're helping out so many American scooterists.

Sales up 40% this month! Recent ScootRS customer reviews about why...

Sales for the month were up 40% over the same period last year! And it was the best March in our history! A big thank you to all our customers around the world.

Here's a quick customer email recently about a quick parts shipment by us:

Thanks for the excellent service... the disc brake arrived from yourselves to the UK in 2 days!! 

And another about our Lambretta gas/petrol dual tanks in stainless steel:

And about our seat covers:

Are you going to remake the Vespa GS150 seat cover soon? Cause we are looking for one for a restoration we have at the shop. And we appreciate the quality of your seat cover.

Yes, we'll be making more soon! Our various seat covers truly are a fantastic deal compared to overpriced and often poor quality Italian repros.

And another about parts for a scooter from us 5 years ago:

Can you supply me with SX200 panels ready painted with emblems? They are to go on a scooter you suplied on 28/02/2007, order no: -----. I have just ordered the Lambretta anti-dive upgrade and other parts for it.

This is the best Lambretta I have had since my TV200 I had in 1966 when I was 17!

Please let others know on forums who have never ordered from us and are still paying WAY too much for lower quality items just because from Europe (though often made in India or China). There are so many uninformed or deliberately fake "reviews" and warnings out there about "Asian" parts (usually by people who work or overpaid at another shop) so firsthand customer reviews like the ones above are incredibly helpful to fellow scooterists.

Record sales because of ScootRS quality and service

We've posted similar customer emails in the past but here is a comment on our Facebook page the other day about our scooter parts quality and customer service:

You reap what you sow, quality is the key to your success. I had a problem with a poorly made fuel tank cap that was part of a larger order, I didn't complain to scootRS but they saw it & replaced the part without even asking me!!! How many companies would do that?

The part came today & is as good as the rest of their excellent stuff. That's why you succeed where others fail.

Well done scootRS. Buy with confidence, they're good at what they do.

Thank you for the kind words! We carry thousands of items so if ever a problem or a suggestion, please let us know. Feedback is very important to us. If something we make, we can change it; if something we buy and resell, we can give feedback or find a new supplier or consider making it ourselves. Looking at opportunities for improvement is not something done at year-end if time allows, it is a natural and continual part of our process at ScootRS. 

And it must be working because, as we posted earlier, our Dec. sales were up a massive 44%! Also, in a year when so many shops have reported problems, we were way up for the year as well, in fact 2011 was our best year for sales since we began!
