Scooters, parts, emails - Friday roundup
Apr. 28, 2006, 12:22 PM

A GP200 went out (TS1, Frenched glovebox, disc brake, tubeless rims, etc.), and an email came in:

Just to let you know scoot has arrived, and exceeded all my expectations. “Truly Wonderful”....no damage to report and started 2nd kick after checks and liquids etc!! Thank you ALL so much for time and obvious efforts.
Some Lambretta SX150 panels went out, and an email came in:
I received the above order today, which included a set of your clip on sx side panels. I'd just like to say that I'm pretty impressed by the quality of these, and would like to say thanks....keep up the good work.
Finally, we've just got some new items in that haven't yet gone out: seats in various colors and patterns. A new twotone Ancillotti, a flashy zebra cover for the animalistic, and a classic striped cover. Enjoy.

Lambretta TV175 TS1 Grimstead
Apr. 20, 2006, 6:45 PM

TS1 Grimstead My TV225 is coming along fine and is starting to loosen up the more miles I do.

Thanks for the quality of the scoot, it also seems like it will be pretty quick.

Everything is working fine and it also sounds awsome. Will be hoping to take it to a couple of U.K rallies this year.

That was a nice looking scooter. Glad you like it.

From the scooter mailroom...
Apr. 12, 2006, 10:29 AM

Couple nice emails today, with a few links for you:

[Regarding your PWK carb and tuned exhaust:] have had this set up on a mugello 178 cc chop and could not believe the power produced as could many of my friends who have converted there lambys since[...] ps thanks for disc brake conversion best money spent it is required on scoot with these speeds
Just to update- my order arrived today in perfect shape! The parts are great and finish appears to be A1! Shipping time was a very respectable 11 days from Vietnam. Gotta tell you my experience with ScootRS has been terrific- I would say that communication and shipping time have been better than some of my past experiences with North American companies! Thanks again and you can certainly expect future orders from me!

1960 hipsterNo, not that story, the other one: “I was 16 years old when I purchased this scooter. At that time I lived in Dos Palos, CA. Unfortunately I wrecked the Lambretta, repaired it and then sold it. Hope you enjoy!”

Nice photo, Earl, thanks for sharing!
