Lambretta hydraulic disc kits
Oct. 18, 2004, 10:27 AM

An email the other day:
after a weeks hard work trucking around england, i returned home to find my disc brake kit had arrived in the post from yourselves, after an hours work fitting it, i must say it works and looks f***ing great. thank you very much. [....] i'm so impressed with your quality of workmanship and service, i would prefer to order from scootRS than somewhere else. once again thanks.
Nice, thanks.

Coincidentally, we also just received this photo of another customer's scooter in England which also has the disc fitted, as well as our tuned exhaust and Ancillotti-style seat.

Lambretta TV175 score
Sep. 15, 2004, 12:16 PM

It doesn't happen very often any more, but it's sure sweet when it does:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I went to work and one of my co-workers comes up to me and says, “I saw a scooter bike at a garage sale sunday... I put a deposit down on it cause I figured you would like it.” So I ask where its located and its about 6-7 blocks from my work. I go to the person's house and sitting outside is a TV175 Ser. 3. The bike has compression and nothing is looked up. The guy said he squirted some fuel in the carb and it fired up. So i gave the guy $20 bucks and it's now in my garage.
Lambretta LIS150 in the UK
Aug. 19, 2004, 7:01 PM
Always nice when scooters arrive, this one a Lambretta LIS150 in the UK:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Overall everyone who's seen it is well impressed with the workmanship and finish of the scooter. We filled it up with fresh fuel and oil and she started 4th kick, the following evening 1st kick so enginewise it seems perfect. I'll let you know how things progress in the future. Thanks again to you and your team for all the hard work you've done.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our pleasure. Thank you for all your hard-earned money ;-)
Best stainless steel Lambretta exhaust
Jul. 29, 2004, 11:06 AM
A potpourri for you. From a post, the formula for working out the cubic capacity of your engine (example, Lambretta 150cc):
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
pie x r2 x h
pie = 3.142
r = radius of bore (57.60mm x 1/2) = 28.80mm
h = stroke (58mm or 5.80)

Therefore: 3.142 x 2.88 x 2.88 x 5.8 = 151.15382cc
