eBay scooter scammers

Revenge against eBay scammers:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well I thought about it and I still want, no, must have this machine. I'll get to western union in Carson City tomorrow. My mom and sister are going there tomorrow for a weekly Brazilian wax, whatever that is. I'll tag along with them. We live in a very remote part of Nevada and have to take a train and two busses to get to the city this takes about five hours but for my dream bike I would do anything.
I was also thinking do you still have the '55 Fenderlight 125 for sale? Because I think I want to buy that one, too. I can't really afford it but I know where to get the money. My Grandmother gave me $1000 to pick up her incontinence medicine from the doctor in Carson tomorrow. I was thinking that I could keep the money and put aspirin in the old bottle, She would never know. That stuff doesn't work anyway, believe you me. When I think of all the clean up I've had to do, I deserve that money, damn it. Yeah, if that baby is still for sale I'll take it!!!
Just one question about the '55 fenderlight, Is the engine a slant six or is it the fabled Hemi Tripower? I really hope that it's the Hemi.
The Capital City Scooter Club just held their annual rally in beautiful Victoria, B.C. A few photos here show the first prize restored red Vespa VBB given away, which included our 12v CDI kit.
By the way, we'll have more North American stock of the CDI kits soon.
You want one of our SX200, right, but we have stopped selling them. Well, there's an SX200 we did recently on eBay, a truly beautiful one, and apparently a heck of a story to go with it:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
RARE - Completely restored - pearl and midnight blue 1968 Lambretta SX200. Classic - and a little more. All-new motor, 30mm flatslide carb, fine-tuned exhaust, electronic ignition, crashbars, windshield.

My husband and I designed this scooter with speed in mind and it was restored to our specifications by ScootRS. Original badges etc. They did a beautiful job and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and workmanship.

What I am not pleased with is the jerk I bought it for, so now it's up for sale because: 1) my lower back is toast and I cannot ride her anymore and since he won't help me I'll be dammed if he's gonna ride her either, and 2) my children deserve a house and here's my down payment!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ouch. But there you go! 3 more days and it's gone, so don't dilly-dally.
New York Vespa VBB
May. 14, 2004, 10:45 AM
One of our old customers is a great photographer and took this photo in New York of his VBB we did. He has also taken some great rally shots, which can be seen here: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4.
He writes:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For all those who want to know, yes it was taken with a Polaroid 110B camera converted to take large format film. It's called a Littman45 and it's the only really portable large format camera. There's a compartment in the camera where I carry a large variety of gelatin filters ranging from variations of yellow, orange, blue, green, magenta and pretty much a bunch of other colors. I just pop them in front of the lens to suite my mood. Most of those shots were variations of yellow, orange and magenta filters except for the night shots, which I didn't use any. I love shooting Polaroids mostly because of the color. It's kinda weird and retro and it can't be achieved digitally or with conventional film. I use type 79 Polaroid for most of the shots and a bit of 559, which has a softer pallette and contrast. Well, that's the technical part of it. There's no big secrets so knock yourselves out. Polaroids are so much fun but the only problem is that you only have 1 original and everybody wants it. Thank god for scanners.
