VBB Restoration Details
All of our VBB scooters are Piaggio, originally from Italy. We keep them in-stock, but unrestored, ready to custom finish according to your preferences: you first choose the cosmetic details, and then any custom options you want. Go through the first few order pages to see prices with various options.
Details
We sell the later 4-speed model. If you stay with 8 inch wheels and want new chrome rims, we will use Super hubs and rims. Add our all-new motor option along with 10 inch wheels, and you have a VBB Veloce++!
Also note that we use 12v CDI flywheel systems because much better than points.
Recommended
Piaggio always improved their basic engine design and later models used bigger carbs and more cylinder ports than the previous 2-port system. The 3-port system began with the Sprint Veloce, and the recent T5 and Vespa clones had 5 ports. While we have your motor open we do the machine work necessary to give you a better 3 or 5-port system, depending what you choose. This includes a larger 20/20 carburetor to give you better performance.
Our all-new motor option includes new gears, crankshaft, and 12v electronic ignition flywheel. A tuned exhaust is also a good bet for extra power.
